Mourne International Walking Festival, Newcastle

The Mourne International Walking Festival will be taking place over the weekend of the 25-27 June 2010 and will be based in the Mourne Golf Club, Newcastle Co Down.
Set within the spectacular scenery of the Mourne Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are walks to suit all levels of fitness and ability with routes between 10km and 40km at both high and low level.

Belfast Zoo Photographic Competition


Our Annual Photographic Competition, sponsored by HB, challenges budding and amateur photographers to take a picture of our animals during a visit to the zoo.

The competition has five categories. They are:

•best photograph taken by a club photographer
•best picture taken by a visitor
•best black and white photograph
•best picture taken by someone under 16
•best funny caption

Prizes will be awarded to the winners in each category at an awards ceremony in October 2010.

All entries must be received by 4pm on 24 September 2010, together with an entry form.

Photography Classes at
Belfast Metropolitan College

Beginner photography classes available Wednesday at Millfield 5.30 - 7.30 and Castlereagh Friday 9.30 - 11.30am starting the week beginning 13th September. These are non-accredited and last 15 weeks in duration.
